What is the metal blanking?
Blanking is a precision process in metal fabricating, during which a metal workpiece is removed from the primary metal strip or sheet when it is punched. The material that is removed is the new metal workpiece or blank.
Precision blanking is a process that can be considered a step beyond the conventional cut-to-length line in the way of both speed and accuracy. The precision blanking process allows for slit or smaller coils to be leveled and cut-to-length in narrower widths and much closer tolerances than what can be achieved by shearing or standard cut-to-length lines.
