Raex 400 Abrasion-Resistant Steel
Raex 400 steel is weldable abrasion-resistant steel, with high hardness of 400 HBW. Due to the recent and modern rolling mills allowing a quenching water fast and controlled, RAEX 400 abrasion-resistant steel is of great purity and present a perfect dimensional stability. This material is suitable for applications that demand higher wear resistance. Raex 400 steel sheets are available in thicknesses of 3 to 6.5 mm and Raex 400 steel plates in thicknesses of 6 to 80 mm.

Note: Brinell Hardness is measured, according to EN ISO 6506-1 on milled surface 0.3-3.0mm below surface. Hardness value is being announced in the material certificate. Mechanical properties are tested in transverse direction and tabulated for information only and values are not shown in material certificate.
Raex 400 Steel Plate Thickness
For plate tolerances according to EN 10 029 Class A, tighter tolerances upon agreement. For sheet tolerances according to EN 10 051 Category A.
Raex 400 abrasion-resistant steel is mainly used for crushers, screens, feeders, pockets of weighing skips, chutes, hoppers, wear blades, conveyors, knives, pinions toothed, tipcarts, loaders, trucks, earthmoves, general purpose excavators, screw conveyors and presses.
