CHARACTERISTICS
ASTM A36 is a hot-rolled, low-alloy carbon steel that exhibits good tensile strength. Its properties include ductility, ease of machinability and welding. As a result, it is one of the most popular structural steels. A36 channel is available with a galvanized finish for increased corrosion resistance.
APPLICATIONS
A36 carbon steel channel is used for a wide range of industrial applications, including truck and trailer frame supports, equipment and machinery frames and supports, building frames and other support components.
