Superalloy Nimonic 80A is the alloy from series NIMONIC nickel-base superalloys that contain 20% of chromium. It is intended for use at elevated and high temperatures at which the creep process occurs significantly. Alloy 80A has good corrosion and oxidation resistance and high tensile and creep-rupture properties at temperatures to 815ºC (1500ºF). Vacuum refined versions are also available.
