HAROX 400 Plate Hardness

HAROX 400 Plate is a kind of abrasion resistant plate with a Brinell hardness of400HBW. This material has good cold bending properties and is mainly used in anti-abrasion conditions. The HAROX 400 plates have good solderability. The hardox 400 abrasion resistant plates are mainly used in making crushers, sieve plates, feeders, feed funnels, hoists, blades, conveyors, buckets, blades, gears, dump trucks, scrapers, industrial trucks, railways trucks, bulldozers, excavators. 
HAROX 400 plate is about 370-430HBW.
HAROX 400 abrasion resistant plate mechanical properties: yield strength Re = 1000MPa. Tensile strength Rm = 1250 MPa. Elongation A5 = 10% (typical value of 20 mm thick steel plate).
HARDOX400 abrasion resistant plate impact toughness: test temperature: -40 (-40F) °C. Impact energy Charpy-V longitudinal = 45J (20 mm thick steel plate typical value).
HARDOX 400 plate delivery status: quenching.
HARDOX 400 plate implementation standards: EN 10 204 - 3.1.

HAROX 400 Plate Applications

Due to its high hardness, high strength and high toughness, HARDOX400 abrasion resistant plates are ideal for applications where wear is severe. The high wear resistance of the steel plate extends the service life of the dump truck body, the bucket of the excavator, the crusher and the like.
The hardness of the hardox 400 plate is obtained by an effective quenching process on our water quenching line. This method achieves both higher hardness and lower alloy composition in the steel. The resulting hardox 400 plates are easy to machine, bend and weld.
