CCS Grade EH36 (CCS/EH36) technical requirements
CCS Grade
EH36 (CCS/EH36) steel is high-strength shipbuilding steel plate. The character E is quality grade E. H is high-strength building materials, and 36 is the maximum compression resistance. Shipbuilding steel generally refers to steel for hull structure, which refers to the steel used to manufacture hull structures produced in accordance with the requirements of the classification society construction regulations. It is often used as a special steel for ordering, scheduling, and sales. A ship includes ship plates and section steel.
CCS Grade EH36 (CCS/EH36) chemical composition%:
C: ≤0.18, Si: ≤0.50, Mn: 0.90~1.60, P: ≤0.035, S: ≤0.035, Als: ≥0.015, Nb+V+Ti: ≤0.12, Cu: ≤0.35, Ni: ≤0.40
CCS Grade EH36 (CCS/EH36) mechanical properties:
ReH/MPa: ≥355, Rm/MPa: 490~620, Al%: ≥21, test temperature/: -40
CCS Grade EH36 (CCS/EH36) technical requirements:
CCS/EH36 steel is a high-strength ship plate. In order to obtain good low-temperature toughness and weldability, it is necessary to refine and uniform the grains of the entire cross section and thickness of the steel plate. Measures for grain refinement and uniformity: On the one hand, in the control rolling process, the reduction and rolling speed of each pass should be designed reasonably. When rolling in the austenite recrystallization zone, try to increase the single-pass reduction: when rolling in the austenite non-recrystallization zone, ensure a large cumulative deformation rate (≥60%), after rolling Perform rapid cooling to control the grain size of the rolling state. On the other hand, adopting a proper normalizing process system can further refine the grains and make the grain size uniform.
CCS Grade EH36 (CCS/EH36) welding performance:CCS Grade EH36 (CCS/EH36) 6 high-strength normalized steel plates for ship plates and offshore platforms not only require high strength, but also require good weldability. The welding test results with heat input of 15kJ/cm and 50k3J/cm show that the strength of the welded joint is equivalent to that of the base material, the welded joint has no obvious embrittlement and softening zone, and the impact toughness of the weld, the coarse-grain zone and the two-phase zone. The indicators are all good, proving that the steel plate has good toughness.
