09CrCuSb low alloy steel pipe advantages
Through smelting in an ultra-high power electric furnace, refining outside the furnace, and vacuum degassing, a low-alloy steel 09CrCuSb resistant to sulfuric acid dew point corrosion for seamless steel pipes, plates, forgings and special welding materials is prepared. Its characteristic is that during the corrosion process, a dense passivation film rich in Cr, Cu, Sb and Ti is formed on its surface, so it has a high anti-corrosion ability.
Compared with other types of steel such as low carbon steel and Corten, sulfuric acid corrosion-resistant steel has excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.
09CrCuSb Low Alloy Steel Pipe Specification
Pipeline standards: GB 3087, GB 5310
Outer diameter: 12.7mm-127mm
Weight: 0.9-12.7mm
Grade: 09CrCuSb
Process: hot refined or cold refined
Corrosion resistance
In the medium temperature and medium concentration of sulfuric acid, the 09CrCuSb alloy steel pipe is passivated due to dissolution, and a layer of passivation rich in copper, chromium, antimony and other alloying elements is formed on the surface of the steel. The chemical layer makes it highly resistant to sulfuric acid corrosion.
