ASTM A572 Gr.60 Steel Work Heat Treatment           
ASTM A572 Gr.60 is used in the "as-supplied" condition. However A572 Gr.60 is possible to obtain higher level of strength by specifying Quenched and Tempered steel plate as per reference specification ASTM A514 which calls for heating at not less than 1650℉ and quenching in water or oil followed by tempering. Also about other heat treatment we can make for A572 Gr.60, such as Tempering, Annealing, Quenching and so on.
