The differences between high pressure boiler pipe and low and medium pressure boiler pipe

The differences between high pressure boiler pipe and low and medium pressure boiler pipe

1. Different working environment

Low and medium pressure boiler pipe: the working pressure is generally not more than 5.88Mpa, and the working temperature is below 450℃;

High-pressure boiler pipe: the working pressure is generally above 9.8Mpa, and the working temperature is between 450℃~650℃.

2. Different implementation standards

Implementation standard for low and medium pressure boiler pipes: GB3087-2018. There are 43 kinds of steel pipe specifications for boilers of various structures, with an outer diameter of 10~426mm. There are 29 kinds of wall thickness 1.5~26mm. However, the outer diameter and wall thickness of superheated steam pipes, large smoke pipes, small smoke pipes and arched brick pipes for locomotive boilers are otherwise specified.

High-pressure boiler pipe implementation standard: GB5310-2018, the outer high-pressure boiler pipe diameter of the hot-rolled pipe is 22-530mm, and the wall thickness ranges from 20-70mm. The outer diameter of the cold drawn (cold rolled) pipe is 10~108mm, and the wall thickness ranges from 2.0~13.0mm.

3. Different prices: the price of high-pressure boiler pipes is higher than that of low and medium pressure boiler pipes.
