XAR400 Thick Steel Plates
XAR400
wear resistant steel plates are widely used in a variety of wear and tear conditions, such as excavators, mining machinery, road machinery, heavy truck compartments, dump truck bodies, conveyor machinery, crushing equipment, garbage collection and processing equipment.

XAR400 steel material is finely grained.
Delivery status: quenching or quenching + tempering (see section "Heat treatment" for details).
Mechanical Properties:
Hardness range: 370 - 430 HBW
The Brinell hardness test (HBW) is tested at 1 mm below the surface of the steel plate in accordance with international standard ISO 6506.
XAR400 Impact test
40mm XAR400 thick steel plate at - 20 °C minimum not less than: 27J (horizontal).
Typical impact value of 15mm XAR400 thick steel plate at - 40 °C: 50 J (lateral).
The impact test is performed in accordance with the international standard ISO 148-1. This value is the lowest value per 3 samples on average, and the impact value of any sample is not less than 70% of this average. The sampling area is the area near the surface of the steel sheet.
The impact test is not applicable to steel plates with a thickness of 6 mm or less.
