What is the smelting method for SA387Gr11CL2 steel
SA387Gr11Cl2 is an American standard pressure vessel chromium molybdenum alloy steel plate. In SA-387 Gr11, SA-387 is the manufacturing technical condition number of "chromium-molybdenum alloy steel plate for pressure vessel", where S is ASME code, A is steel material (if B is non-ferrous metal), 387 is the technical condition serial number Gr11 is grade 11. According to ASME SA387-2007, SA387 steel has 2, 12, 11, 22, 22L, 21, 21L, 5, 9 and 91 total 10 levels. Different grades have different chemical composition and mechanical properties.
Our SA387Gr11CL2 steel plate can be produced with thickness up to 120mm.
Smelting method for SA387Gr11CL2 steel
The electric furnace + refining outside the furnace and vacuum degassing smelting process can be used for secondary electroslag remelting smelting. The SA387Gr11CL2 steel plate shall be intrinsically fine grain killed steel.
It belongs to 1.25Cr-0.5Mo series pearlite heat-resistant steel. It has good high temperature strength, oxidation resistance and sulfide corrosion resistance below 500 ℃, and is widely used in high-temperature and high-pressure container devices in coal chemical industry and petrochemical industry.
