What are the properties of Q690C steel

GB/T 16270-2009 Q690C steel is a high strength structural steel plates in the quenched and tempered condition. The critical hardenability diameter in oil is 60mm (96% martensite). The steel can obtain high strength after quenching and tempering, and has certain toughness, and can be processed and formed; but the cold deformation and weldability are low. The anti-corrosion performance is poor, affected by the tempering temperature, the use temperature should not be too high, usually after quenching, low temperature (or medium temperature) tempering.
