What are the properties of 15CrMoG boiler pipe?
15CrMoG boiler pipe is a low-alloy seamless steel pipe, which is mainly suitable for calculating the main steam pipeline of sub-high pressure and high pressure power station boilers whose wall temperature is not greater than 550°C. The Chinese executive standard is GB5310 2017.
Due to the addition of alloying elements, and the calculation of the carbon equivalent CE of the steel is 0.43-0.63, it can be seen that the weldability of 15CrMoG steel pipe is significantly worse than that of 20G steel. Welded joints are more prone to cold cracks, reheat cracks and temper brittleness. -Generally speaking, the mechanical properties such as strength and hardness of 15CrMoG are better than 20G under the same conditions. In addition, the addition of Cr element improves the oxidation resistance of the material, and the addition of Mo element improves the thermal strength of the material. Therefore,
GB/T 5310 15CrMoG steel boiler pipe has sufficient oxidation resistance and thermal strength on the basis of meeting the mechanical performance requirements of power station boiler main steam pipes under high temperature conditions.
As a kind of pearlitic heat-resistant steel, the metallographic microstructure of 15CrMoG boiler pipe is ferrite plus pearlite. Long-term use under high temperature conditions will produce pearlite spheroidization. According to DL/T787-2001 "15CrMo Steel Pearlite Spheroidization Rating Standard for Thermal Power Plants", the spheroidization level can be divided into 1 to 5 according to the characteristics of the pearlite spheroidization structure. As the spheroidization level increases, the mechanical properties and thermal properties of 15CrMoG boiler pipe decrease accordingly.
