Welding process of NM400 wear-resistant plate

The welding process of NM400 wear-resistant plate is an important part of the processing process. The following points need to be noted:

1. Selection of shielding gas: High-purity argon (more than 99.99%) should be used as the internal shielding gas during welding to prevent oxidation of the weld.
2. Use of arc starting plate: Arc starting is not allowed directly on the groove surface. An arc starting plate should be used to protect the quality of the starting point of the weld.
3. Welding speed and arc length: Try to use faster welding speed and short arc welding without lateral swing to reduce welding heat input and control welding deformation.
4. Interlayer temperature control: During multi-layer welding, the interlayer temperature should be less than 100°C to avoid adverse effects caused by overheating.
5. Post-weld inspection: After welding, each weld should be inspected for coloring, and X-ray inspection should be performed on 25% of the total number of circumferential seams to ensure welding quality.
