SA387 Gr.91 steel chemical composition

SA387 Gr.91 steel is a alloy steel pressure vessel plate. It has the properties of preventing hydrogen embrittlement, hydrogen corrosion, hydrogen stripping, and sulfide corrosion, and has good low temper brittleness. SA387 Gr.91 also has good impact toughness and high and stable durable plasticity and thermal strength properties. When the use temperature is lower than 620, its allowable stress is higher than that of austenitic stainless steel.

A387 Grade 91 and SA387Gr91 pressure vessel plate is suitable for refining and gas treatment in hydrogenation reaction and conversion equipment at high temperature. The maximum thickness of SA387 Gr.91 steel plates can reach 250mm thickness.
