SA387 Gr 22 CL 1 CrMo alloy steel
SA387 Gr 22 CL 1 (ASTM A387 Gr 22 CL 1) steel is a Chromium-molybdenum (CrMo) alloy steel plate for welded boilers and pressure vessels. It has the ability to prevent hydrogen embrittlement, hydrogen corrosion, hydrogen peeling, and sulfide corrosion in medium temperature (350 ~ 480 ℃) in the presence of hydrogen. At the same time, SA387 Gr 22 CL 1 steel has good low temper embrittlement and is widely used in fertilizers, petrochemicals and firepower Manufacturing of power plant equipment, such as ammonia synthesis reactor, coal gasifier, shift furnace and hydrogenation reactor, etc.
By using special smelting methods to reduce the content of phosphorus, SA387 Gr 22 CL 1 CrMo alloy steel has high brittle resistance, and also has good impact toughness in low temperature environments.
SA387 Gr 22 CL 1 CrMo alloy steel material is suitable for refining and gas treatment in hydrogenation reaction and conversion equipment at high temperature. The maximum thickness of SA387 Gr 22 CL 1 steel plate can reach 250mm. According to different thickness and impact requirements, the heat treatment of SA387 steel plate can choose normalizing and tempering or normalizing and rapid cooling and tempering.
