Q345B tower steel
Steel Q345B is a low-carbon alloy steel (c<0.2%). It has good overall performance, low temperature performance, cold stamping performance, welding performance and machinability. Q345B tower steel is widely used in bridges, vehicles, ships, buildings, pressure vessels, etc. Q represents the yield of this material. The 345 in the back refers to the yield value of this material, which is around 345MPa. And as the thickness of the material increases, its yield value decreases.
Mechanical properties of Q345B tower steel
Yield strength: ≤16mm: greater than 345, 16-40mm: greater than 335, 40-63mm: greater than 325, 63-80mm: greater than 315,
80-100m: greater than 305, 100-150mm: greater than 285, 150-200mm: greater than 275.
Tensile strength: 450-630.
Elongation: greater than 17%.
Impact test: Test temperature: 20℃: greater than 34.
Q345B tower steel is widely used in bridges, vehicles, ships, buildings, pressure vessels, etc. It is suitable for engineering steel for hot rolling, controlled rolling, normalizing, normalizing plus tempering and quenching, as well as steel plates, steel strips and steel bars and steel bars with a thickness of not less than 3mm for general structures.
