Hot Rolled Steel EN 10025-2 S355JR +N
Hot rolled steel plate S355JR + N under EN 10025-2 means that S335JR plates is delivered in normalizing rolling condition. The abbreviated form of this delivery condition is +N. Rolling process for S355JR + N hot rolled plates in which the final deformation is carried out in a certain temperature range leasing to a material condition equivalent to that obtained after normalizing so that the specified values of the mechanical properties are retained even after normalizing.
S355JR hot rolled steel plate belongs to the table of carbon steel structural steels (EN10025-2: 2004). This material is used for medium-high strength parts, good tenacity, easy forming and welding. Generally, S335JR is used for elements of machines that demand little responsibility: railway wagons, dump trucks, cranes, trailers, bridges, shipbuilding.
