Abrasion resistant steel plate is widely used in machinery manufacturing, so what types of abrasion resistant steel plate are there?
1. High manganese steel
The as-cast structure of high manganese steel is usually composed of austenite, carbide and pearlite, and sometimes contains a small amount of phosphorus eutectic. When the number of carbides is large, they often appear in the form of a network on the grain boundary. Therefore, the high-manganese steel with as-cast structure is very brittle and cannot be used, and solution treatment is required. The commonly used heat treatment method is solution treatment, that is, heating the steel to 1050-1100°C, heat preservation to eliminate the as-cast structure, obtaining a single-phase austenite structure, and then water quenching to keep this structure at room temperature. The strength, plasticity and toughness of the steel after heat treatment are greatly improved.2. Medium and low alloy abrasion resistant steel plate
This type of steel has high hardness (Brinell hardness can reach HB500) and is weldable. This type of steel is usually made into steel plates or sections by rolling, and then welded into components. Low alloy steel for use in conditions where wear is the primary failure mode. Medium and low alloy abrasion resistant steel plate is mainly divided into low-alloy welding abrasion resistant steel plate, low-alloy abrasion resistant steel plate for construction machinery parts and low-alloy abrasion resistant steel plate for agricultural machinery.
3. Chromium molybdenum silicon manganese steel
Silicon manganese alloy is an alloy composed of manganese, silicon, iron and a small amount of carbon and other elements. Silicon-manganese alloy is a composite deoxidizer commonly used in steelmaking, and it is also a reducing agent for low-carbon ferromanganese and electro-silicon thermal production of metal manganese in production. Silicon-manganese alloys can be smelted by continuous operation in large, medium and small submerged arc furnaces.
4. Special abrasion resistant steel plate
Steel grades used under specific working conditions, such as impact wear, corrosion wear, high temperature erosion wear, etc.
