S355JR is a kind of high strength low alloy structural steel belongs to the standard EN10025. The products standard of S355JR steel plate is EN10025, and its thickness range is from 8mm to 500mm. S355JR is high strength low alloy structural steel in China, its hardness is 70-80B, and its YS is between 300-400 Mpa.
The meaning of S355JR: S means structural steel, E means engineering steel. If the condition of delivery is normalizing or as rolled, there should be +N or +AR followed the grade. S355 has four quality grades: JR, J0, J2, K2, the difference between them is that they have different impact energy requirement.
The chemical component of S355JR: C：≤0.22；Si：≤0.55；Mn：≤1.60；P：≤0.025；S：≤0.025. S355JR is equal to Q345B.
