Gu Jianguo pointed out that in the past two years, as China's iron and steel enterprises earnestly pushed forward the supply-side structural reform, intensified their efforts in capacity-building and perfected environmental protection measures, the steel industry generally showed a steady and favorable trend of operation. Since the recent period, the price of steel in China has rebounded reasonably, and the effective supply of steel enterprises has been regulated in an orderly manner in line with the law of market operation. The economic benefits of most iron and steel enterprises have continued to improve.
