Technical requirements of ASTM A537 pressure vessel plate like yield strength and tensile strength shall conform to this specification ASTM A537. The maximum thickness of plates furnished under this specification is 4 in. [100 mm] for A537 Class 1 and 6 in. [150 mm] for A537 Class 2 and A537 Class 3 steel plates.
