Q370R Low-Alloy High-Strength Steel Plates

GB 713 Q370R material is a carbon steel and low-alloy high strength steel plate. It is characterized by specified elevated temperature properties, intended for pressure vessels and boilers. Shanghai Katalor can manufacture and machine GB 713 Q370R low-alloy high-strength steel plates as required.

Note:

1. For Q345R and Q370R steel plates at thickness over 60mm, the carbon content can be increased 0.22% respectively; for Q245R steel plates at thickness over 60mm, the manganese content ban be increased 0.22% at most.
2. In order to improve performance of steel plates, the microelement (Nb, V and Ti) are allowed to be added in Q245R, Q345R and Q370R grade steels. The element content shall be filled in the quality guarantee. The content sum of the above three elements shall be no greater than 0.050% and 0.10% respectively.

Smelting process: Q370R steel is smelted with oxygen converter or electric furnace, and shall be subjected to external refining.
Delivery condition: Q370R steel plate is often delivered in normalizing condition.
Available tests and inspection:  Chemical composition, tensile test, Z-direction stretch, bending test, impact test, hot tension, falling weight test, hydrogen induced cracking resistance test, ultrasonic test, size and shape inspection and surface inspection
