Q245R grade steel

Katalor Q245R material is hot selling. Q245R grade steel belongs to boiler pressure vessel steel plate. It has special composition and performance and is mainly used for pressure vessel. For the purpose, temperature and corrosion resistance, the material of the container plate that should be selected for Katalor Q245R steel plate is not the same. The elements of yttrium, vanadium and titanium may be added to the steel, and the content shall be filled in the quality certificate. The sum of the above three elements shall not exceed 0.050% respectively.

Steel grades are composed of Chinese Pinyin letters representing yield strength, yield strength letters, and quality grade symbols. For example: Q245R, where:
Q-steel's yield strength "Qu" is the first letter of Chinese Pinyin: it represents the yield point of steel.
245—the value of the yield strength in MPa.
R—The first letter of the Chinese pinyin of the pressure vessel steel “Rongqiban”: represents the pressure vessel plate.
