GB/T 3077 15CrMo material: "15" is a carbon content component of 0.15%, "Cr" is a component containing a certain chemical element - chromium, "Mo" is a component containing a certain chemical element - molybdenum, 15CrMo is often used after heat treatment below 550, has a high durability. Introduction of 15CrMo steel: Grade 15CrMo is a steel-based pearlitic heat-resistant steel with high heat strength (δb≥440MPa) and oxidation resistance at high temperature, and has certain resistance to hydrogen corrosion. Due to the high content of Cr, C and other alloying elements in the steel, the hardening tendency of the steel is obvious and the weldability is poor.

Welding materials
According to the working characteristics of the weldability of 15CrMo steel, based on past experience, we have selected two schemes for the welding test with reference to the welding card provided by foreign countries.
Solution: welding preheating, using ER80S-B2L welding wire, TIG welding bottoming, E8018-B2 welding rod, electrode arc welding cover surface, local heat treatment after welding.
Solution: ER80S-B2L welding wire, TIG welding bottoming, E309Mo-16 welding rod, welding rod filling arc welding cover surface, no heat treatment after welding. The chemical composition and mechanical properties of the welding wire and welding rod shall be same to 15CrMo steel plates chemical composition.
