Common delivery status has the following methods:
Quenching: A process of rapid cooling after heating above the transformation point temperature. Increase the hardness of the material, but reduce the toughness.
Normalizing: Normally cool (in air) after heating above the phase transition temperature.
Annealing: After heating above the transformation point temperature, slowly cool. Elimination of quenching effects, stress elimination, uniform composition.
Tempering: After quenching, it is heated to a certain temperature (below the quenching temperature), kept warm, and then cooled. Uniform composition, slightly reduces hardness, and greatly improves toughness.
