China exported 5.3 million tons of flat plates in April 2021

The latest data from the General Administration of Customs shows that in April 2021, China exported 5.3 million tons of steel plates, an increase of 30.2% year-on-year; the cumulative exports from January to April were 16.71 million tons, an increase of 29.5% year-on-year.

In April, China exported 1.32 million tons of steel bars, a year-on-year increase of 49.5%; from January to April, it exported 4.23 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 47.5%. Other export conditions are shown in the following table:
