A387Gr11 steel is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel for welded boilers and pressure vessels. There are two class levels: class 1 and class 2 under A387Gr11 steel. When production, the heat treatment for A387Gr11cl1 and A387Gr11cl2 alloy steel plate shall be under Normalized and Tempered. Our mill will do Ultrasonic test freely at least according to JB/T4730.3 III class. When customers required, we also do ultrasonic test according to ASTM Standard,such as A435/A435M,A577/A577M and A578/A578M.

Our engineers suggest that customers choose doing HIC and SSCC test when rolling for improve A387Gr11 alloy steel properties when they using and rolling under NACE standard. HIC test is short for Hgdrogen Induced Crack Test which would strength pressure vessel steel weldability and get smooth surface when post processing in customers'yards.
