A299 Gr. B Plates Application

ASTM A299 Gr. B heavy plate is widely used for manufacturing pressure and boiler equipments. Plates of this standard under this thickness of 50 mm are normally supplied in as-rolled condition. Plates may be ordered normalized or stress relieved, or both. Plates over 50 mm in thickness shall be normalized.
