ASTM A106/A106M standard covers A106 Grade B seamless carbon steel pipe for high-temperature service in specification NPS 1 ⁄ 8 - 48 (DN 6 -1200mm) inclusive, with nominal (average) wall thickness as given in ASME B 36.10M. Generally, this kind of seamless pipe is used for high-temperature and high-pressure pipelines.
