Stainless steel SUS310S is an austenitic heat resistant alloy with excellent resistance to oxidation under mildly cyclic conditions through 2000ºF. The high chromium and nickel content of SUS310S steel provides comparable corrosion resistance, superior resistance to oxidation, and the retention of a larger fraction of room temperature strength.
Type 310S has high percent of Cr and Ni,so its performance in oxidative stability and resistance of corrosion is excellent.Besides, this material is with better performance in high temperature environment.Because the C% is less than 310,the weldability is bettern than Type 310 stainless.
