In case of specific inspection a test unit shall comprise: Tubes of the same specified diameter and wall thickness, the same steel grade, the same cast, the same manufacturing process and, if applicable, the same normalizing treatment in a continuous furnace or heat treated in the same furnace charge in a batch-type furnace. Tubes with specified diameter D ≤76,1mm need not be separated by cast unless option 12 is specified. The full length of the weld seam of all EN10217-1 P195TR2 ERW tubes shall be subjected to a Non-Destructive test for the detection of longitudinal imperfections.

EN10217-1 P195TR2 ERW should be done test as following: cast analysis, tensile test on base material, impact test at 0°C, leak-tightness test, dimensional inspection, visual examination and NDT of the weld.
